Authenticity
Located in the very heart of Kaunas Oldtown, this 55m2 studio is a raw and unique space with authentic details going back to when the property was built in the end of 19th century.
The aim was to create a functional space for modern day needs in continuation of the historic oldtown vibe with as less intervention as possible.
Focusing on the combination of stripped-down walls, original doors and herringbone wood floor it was essential to interlink this ethos to the further material and color palette selection and to keep it minimal, simple and honest. An ode to history and minimalism.
