Located in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, this apartment was designed for a family of three and remains one of our most cherished projects.

The interior is defined by its architectural heritage: high ceilings, original decorative plasterwork, and restored herringbone parquet floors. From the beginning, the intention was to preserve these elements and allow them to set the tone for the space. Rather than introducing strong contrasts, the design builds on continuity — enhancing what already exists.

The atmosphere carries a distinct French sensibility: calm, balanced, and timeless. Soft, light-filled spaces are paired with carefully considered proportions and a warm, restrained palette.

Architectural details remain the protagonists, while contemporary interventions are introduced quietly, with respect for the building’s history.

Furniture and material choices are classic design pieces, selected to age well and to sit comfortably within the historic setting. Natural stone surfaces, wood, and subtly textured finishes add depth without visual excess. Custom-built elements are integrated architecturally, reinforcing a sense of permanence rather than trend-driven design.

The project evolved through a close and engaged dialogue with very style-conscious clients, whose presence throughout the process helped shape decisions on both spatial and atmospheric levels — always in a way that supported the integrity of the architecture.

Equally important was creating a home that feels livable and deeply personal. During the photoshoot, we aimed to reflect everyday life within the space — books, artwork, objects, and personal items are intentionally present. These layers soften the formality of the space and give the interior its individuality, allowing the apartment to read as a real home rather than a styled interior.

The result is a space where heritage and contemporary living coexist naturally — composed, deeply personal, and quietly expressive.
